Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty straightforward process. Just be yourself and be confident. They like people who are energetic and professional. Knowing a bit about the company's history is helpful. It started with an automated phone interview, then a call with a recruiter. After that, there was a panel interview. If they offer you the job, there's a background check and a drug test.
- What are some ways you would respond in a situation with an irate customer?
Customer Service Representative
To get started, you'll need to submit to and pass a criminal background check. You'll also need to provide a cell phone number that can receive text messages for event notifications, and a Google email/Gmail account with Google Hangouts Chat capability. We're looking for experience with computers, data entry, and customer service or a similar industry. For computer requirements, you'll need Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, a processor of 600 MHz or greater, 1 GB RAM or more (depending on your OS), 10 GB of disk space, and virus protection software. Internet connectivity needs to be DSL or cable high-speed with at least 3mbs. For phone requirements, a landline with call waiting disabled is needed, or a desk phone with a handset that can unplug, or a cell phone with a headset (earbuds), microphone, and charger that can be continuously operated for at least 2 hours. You'll also need a home office.
- Do you enjoy the flexibility of setting your own schedule?
- Do you like the idea of earning extra income?
- Do you enjoy having control over your earning potential?
Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty easy interview. If you dress well, you'll probably get the job. The questions were more about retail stuff, not really about customer service skills, which tells me they don't really care if you can do the job. They just want to hire people fast to make more money from their clients and then look for ways to cut costs, which is kind of funny.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join our company?
