First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Domino's.
Delivery Expert
The interview for this Delivery Expert role mostly focused on your availability and how reliable your car is. It's pretty flexible, and you can basically set your own schedule after getting manager approval. The rest of it was about checking your customer service skills.
- What's the most crucial thing to remember when interacting with a customer?
- How would you handle a customer who is unhappy or complaining?

I applied online and got a call the next day from Gina in regional hiring. She asked me if I had a car with insurance and if I was a safe driver. After I answered, she told me to go for an interview that afternoon at my local Domino's pizza store and to ask for Simon. I went to the interview dressed casually. I asked for Simon, and he had me wait for about 5 minutes before taking me to his office. Even though I applied for Monday-Friday availability, Simon asked if I had a car, insurance, and if I could work weekends (Friday-Sunday), stating he needed someone for the busiest times. When I asked about Monday-Friday jobs, he said they already had people for those shifts. I was confused why regional hiring sent me to a store with different availability needs. I called Gina back to ask why I was sent to a place with different availability needs. She asked what Simon said, and I explained. She mentioned the regional hiring department doesn't always know the specific shift availability needs of individual stores. I thought they would know. I called Gina again to request an interview at a different Domino's store. She agreed. Later, I received an email formally declining my application for that store, which was corporate-owned. A week after my initial interview, I still haven't gotten another interview at another Domino's store.
- Do you own a car and have insurance?

Started with an online application. Then got a phone call for an interview. They gave me a standard interview and told me about common hiring policies like background checks, driving record checks, possible drug tests, and uniform/grooming standards. They said the company has great advancement opportunities and is friendly to people with minor criminal history (no felonies, thefts, or violent crimes).
- Were there any unexpected or difficult questions during the interview?
- Was the interview pretty standard?
