First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dollar Tree.
Assistant Manager
The interview was quite easy. I was not given complete information about the job. The recruiter mentioned the top salary and that they wanted me immediately, but the hiring manager then told me to offer a very low salary for this position.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Assistant Manager
The interview process was professional. The store manager seemed nice, and I thought this would be a decent place to work. After being offered the job and accepting, the District Manager instead filled the position with his own applicant without ever notifying me.
- Can you tell me about your experience at your last job with a small wholesaler in Tulsa?
Assistant Manager
It's a pretty basic interview process. Usually, you'll interview with the store manager, who's in charge of hiring. But sometimes, if there's no store manager, you'll meet with the assistant manager instead. You'll talk about why you'd be a good fit for the job, and having more availability makes you more likely to get hired. You'll also discuss how you interact with customers and other employees.
