So the interview process began well. First, a recruiter reached out, then I had a phone interview with them. After that, I met with a Region Director for a pre-interview, which seemed to go fine. The director gave me their contact info and said they'd be in touch the next week. But then, I never heard back from either of them, even after trying to reach out multiple times. A month later, I get that they found someone, but I'm pretty bummed about the lack of follow-up or feedback.

I submitted my resume and the recruiter called me. We had an initial phone interview with some standard screening questions about my background and management skills. They wanted to know about my experience and overall management ability. Then I had a second round with the Regional Director, which was a 45-minute phone interview. It focused a lot on why I wanted to work for DG and why I left my previous jobs. The third round was an in-store visit and interview with the Regional Director again. This one was a bit more in-depth, covering strategy, retail knowledge, and leadership skills. The final interview was a 30-minute phone call with the Divisional VP. This was mostly about the big picture and leadership.

A week after that, I had an interview with the Human Resources Manager and completed an aptitude test. I was hired within a week. I applied online and got a call from the Regional Manager 3 days later. They asked me to come in for an interview 3 days after that. I interviewed with the Regional Manager and Divisional Manager. 3 days after that, I interviewed with the Human Resources Manager and took an aptitude test. The next day, I underwent a drug test. An offer was made five days later, and I accepted the position.
