HR Manager
Applied online and was contacted the same day. They seemed very interested with an email to set up a formal interview. I responded with my availability and heard nothing back. Gave it a few days and contacted the number provided. No response. Very unprofessional, if the days/times did not work or something unexpected happened, it should have been communicated properly. I have many years of HR experience and sometimes you need to be accommodating if you're looking for top talent. Also, lack of communication is a big no-no. Does not reflect well on the HR Department.

Human Resources Manager
Got to the company via an agency. It was a standard corporate interview process: there was an assessment, then a phone screen. After that, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and the next level of management. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with peers, my supervisor, the hiring manager, and the next level of management. The offer came pretty quickly after that. Overall, it was a really good experience; the face-to-face part really made me feel comfortable with the company's identity and culture.

Senior Human Resources Manager
The interview process was way too long and drawn out with bad communication. They told me there would be 5 interviews and the hiring manager said I should expect an offer twice. But then they kept adding more and more interviews, joking about how 'thorough' they were and that people get 'interview fatigue'. After my 13th interview over 2 months, the interviewer was on her phone the whole time and barely made eye contact. She cut it short after 15 minutes because of another emergency. It was the second time I talked to her, she had an emergency the first time and passed me to someone else after 10 minutes. This really showed me it wasn't the right company, especially since I was interviewing on vacation, 6 time zones away. I learned later from LinkedIn that they hired someone else and never even contacted me. I would have been so embarrassed if this happened at a company I worked for, it's a blessing I dodged this. The interview process was so one-sided, I can't imagine what it's like to work there! I was still curious how they would handle the rest of the process.
