I showed up 5 minutes early to the store for my interview with Linda, the Assistant Manager. She came to greet me with a smile and we went to the office, which was pretty small and full of boxes. Linda mentioned they were short-staffed and dealing with an employee having to leave early. The interview was quite brief and felt a bit rushed. She let me know that due to corporate needs, she could only guarantee 5-15 hours per week. I confirmed that this was acceptable, provided there were chances to pick up extra shifts from other employees who might be on vacation or taking leave.

The interview process was very easy and simple. They asked about my good qualities, how they would fit into the workspace, and what my strengths and weaknesses were. They also asked about my attitude towards people.

The interviewer just sat there and stared at me. They didn't explain anything about the job or what the company does. They just started asking a bunch of questions that didn't seem to make sense and I wasn't sure if they were even related to the job.
