Had a straightforward interview with a welcoming recruiter. We discussed all the typical questions and I got a good understanding of the company, how it makes money, and the specifics of the role. The recruiter was upfront about their progress in the hiring stages, which was really helpful.

I had an initial screening call with the recruiter, which was quite brief, under 10 minutes, and they asked about three questions. They wanted to know why I was interested in Dolby, about my background, and if I had an example of a co-branded media campaign I found noteworthy. After that, I proceeded to the second round with the hiring manager. This part felt a bit unusual as it seemed like she did most of the talking, not me. She did reassure me that I wouldn't be left in the dark and that I'd hear back within a week. Fast forward about a month and a half, and I eventually got an email stating I wouldn't be moving forward to the next stage. Definitely a strange interview process!

the follow through was horrible. they ghost candidates. it takes months. they have no consideration for people's time or treating people with respect. the team seemed disconnected. the recruiter and hiring lead weren't on the same page.
