Product Manager
The interview process involved multiple discussions with various team members, like the Hiring Manager, CPO, Design Lead, Product Operations, and the Architect. All interviews felt supportive, respectful, and professional. I was asked about my past experiences and also given hypothetical product situations to discuss, which I really enjoyed thinking through. It was a great process overall — well-thought-out, organized, and engaging. I was happy to get an offer and felt good about joining the team.
- What's a good balance for a Product Manager's time between grooming Epics and engaging with customers on their pain points?
Product Manager
The interview process felt very Euro-centric, almost like a "ForgetIt" situation. I really enjoyed my conversations with the US-based Product Management team and got great feedback. However, when I interviewed with the EU-based dev team, they mentioned needing a PM in their time zones and that current US-based PMs were already complaining about early morning meetings. I never felt so set up to fail in an interview before.
- What's your Product I.Q.?
Product Manager
This company's interview process is outstanding, possibly the best I've experienced globally. It’s a model other companies should follow. The recruiter, Michele, was exceptional, offering great support throughout. She shared abundant details about the company, role, and process, and gave really thorough feedback after every stage. I felt incredibly valued, more so than even at FAANG companies. The interviews themselves were also fantastic. It seemed like the interviewers clearly knew the candidate profile they sought, and everyone was super friendly and open. The interviews felt like genuine, two-way conversations rather than interrogations. They asked great questions, and the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The questions focused on product sense and approach rather than specific frameworks, leaning towards open-ended discussions about product development. Given their strong product team, demonstrating a robust and proven product management approach is key.
- Can you describe if you are a patient person?
