Business Development Representative
Had 4 rounds of interviews. Started with HR, then talked to a current BDR teammate, followed by the head of sales, and finally the BDR manager. There was an exercise where I had to pick out three companies that fit the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) that I would cold outreach to. I then had to explain my choices to the head of sales using a short slide presentation, just a couple of slides. The last round with the BDR manager involved a mock cold call for a general persona, not a specific individual. The camera was off during the exercise. I got strong feedback but unfortunately no offer.

The interview process is pretty tough and they really want to make sure they pick the right people. It's challenging but they help you out along the way so you have a good shot at succeeding. There are 4 stages: - first, an introduction and chat about the job - Then, you meet someone from the team - They might do a language check to see how you do - you'll meet with the Manager - you have to do a presentation - role-play a mock call to check you get it and your sales style works.
- What's motivating you to leave your present job?
- Why are you looking to leave your current role?
Business Development Representative
Had a great experience with fantastic people and the whole interview process was really conversational like everyone says in the reviews. Felt wanted and looked after from the beginning and couldn't have wished for a better recruiter on my side than Martin! The process started with a screening interview with the recruiter, followed by a cultural fit interview with a Senior BDR. Then, I had to prepare a presentation and a competency interview with the hiring manager. Finally, there was a cold call role play and a last competency + cultural fit interview with the director of sales.
- Can you explain what DoiT does?
- What are three ways a manager can support you?
- What motivates you?
