Account Manager
Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date like your resume. There will be multiple interviews. First, you'll have an intro chat with the recruiter. Then, you'll talk with a few other Strategic Account Managers back-to-back. After that, you'll meet with the Sales Director and possibly the CRO or CEO, and maybe even a sales rep just for kicks. You don't need to be an expert in everything; cloud tech is learnable, but you definitely need to grasp cloud best practices and how to implement them. It's best if you're pretty familiar with at least one cloud platform; having an Associate's or higher certification is a plus. The interviews are super casual, so just chill and get to know everyone. They're looking at how you fit the culture (smart but humble, eager to learn, growth-oriented, easygoing), how good you are at building rapport, if you're honest about what you don't know, and if you're keen and quick to pick up new things. They want to know how well you understand cloud tech, if you can teach it to others, and how you handle learning a ton of new stuff every day.
- Can you explain cloud best practices to a client?
- What inquiries would you make to a client about cloud best practices?
- Describe your approach to assisting a client with optimizing their cloud expenses.
Strategic Account Manager
The interview process at DoiT was quite involved and sometimes tough, but my recruiter kept me well-informed and helped me get ready for each of the 4 interviews. They were really helpful whenever I needed it. All the interviewers were on time and professional. Some interviews were challenging, especially the third one, but the questions were directly relevant to the job and made me really think. I think DoiT's process is good at making sure new hires fit the company culture and have the skills to succeed.

Account Manager
The whole interview process took about three months, and then they told me the job was on hold and didn't say why. This has happened to me before, sadly. I really think companies shouldn't be allowed to post fake job ads to make investors think they're hiring more people than they are. Honestly, LinkedIn and Glassdoor should stop companies from listing jobs if they aren't going to follow through with hiring.
