First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Docebo.
Business Development Representative
It was a great experience, with 4 rounds. First, I had a chat with the recruiter. Then, I met with the hiring manager and a team lead. After that, there was a cold call role-play exercise. Finally, I had another interview with a different team lead. The recruiter and the hiring managers were all really nice and gave me all the info I needed.
- In what ways could you contribute to the team's success?
Business Development Representative
The interview process had four stages, all conducted via Zoom. First, a recruiter call, then a hiring manager interview. After that, a joint interview with the Hiring Manager and an Enablement Lead, followed by a final interview with the Director. I really liked the whole interview experience; the people and culture were amazing. They were very open and answered all my questions.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What motivates you to join Docebo?
Business Development Representative
Applied for BDR role at Docebo, but they thought I was overqualified and suggested I apply for a higher position. The recruiters liked my interviews; I even gave the Senior Director of Business Development tips on cold calling and LinkedIn outreach. The final step was supposed to be a meeting with the VP of Account Management EMEA for final validation. He gave positive feedback, and she then suggested a coffee chat, saying an offer would come that day or during the week. I waited, but received nothing. HR was on holiday when I tried to reach out. I contacted the Senior Director of Business Development again, and she said they needed to review candidates before final approval. Then, no response. Eight days later, I got an email saying they decided to go with another candidate. Wasted my time.
