First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Docebo.
Enterprise Account Manager
The interview process included a recruiter call, a senior recruiter call, and a call with the hiring manager. I communicated with Dylan & Ashlee throughout the entire process and found the team very transparent and positive. I thoroughly enjoyed the open conversations we had about the role and culture at Docebo.
- Can you describe the typical questions used to assess understanding of the dynamics and nuances of a mid-senior level Account Manager role?
Account Manager
Had an initial chat with the recruiter that went well, and then I got introduced to the Enterprise AM team. I interviewed with them two times. The first one was good, and they said they wanted to talk to me again, but the next time they would get into the details. During the second interview, they talked to me for an hour, and then one of them had to leave for a sales issue. The Zoom call ended, and I didn't get to ask any questions. About 10 minutes later, I got an apology and a 'we will get back to you next week.' I never heard from them again. I also didn't like that one of the guys used the word 'sexy' to describe a product during the interview, and then at one point, they told me they were messaging each other about me during the interview. Also, if this role is supposed to be cross-functional, why wouldn't you include other people to interview with besides these two? It was all very weird. They say they have a good culture, yet the interview experience left me feeling less than that. Is this how they treat employees? SAAS companies, please include more women on your interview calls.
- What are your expectations for the onboarding process?
Account Manager
The interview process has been very streamlined and straightforward. Clear. Given plenty of time to prep 3 specific exercises. Great process with clear guidance. I am not completely through the process yet, but no complaints at this time.
