Process is clear and simple: First, connect with the potential resource. There will be a discussion with the hiring manager who will explain the company's motivations, objectives, and roles. Then, an interview with a business resource, who is an expert in the field you are applying for. During this discussion with the technical referent, motivations will be clearly explained and some technical aspects will be checked, but no technical tests. Finally, the candidate's application will be validated and sent to HR to finalize contract-related formalities.

Technical Behavioral

I had an interview in 2023 with two people from Docaposte. It went well, and I answered the Linux tech questions and the lead part correctly. But later, I was told I wasn't suitable because they thought my database skills were weak. It's true I didn't talk much about databases when presenting my background, even though I have strong skills in that area. This seemed strange because they never asked me any database questions, nor did they mention it. The job profile didn't mention databases either, otherwise, I would have elaborated. So, I was a bit surprised to hear that strong database knowledge was very important for this role.

Behavioral Presentation Case

This was a junior role at Pollux. First, I had a 30-minute chat with an HR person and two Lead UX designers. Then, about two weeks later, I did a 1-hour case study presentation for HR and one Lead designer. After that, I waited about 20 days. I actually got two other offers from companies that were faster with decisions, so I asked Pollux for their decision. They said no. I also asked for feedback, which they said they'd give but never did.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted by a recruitment agency, and then I had one interview that lasted almost three hours with two interviewers. It was a long interview, but it was enjoyable, professional, and created a trusting atmosphere where organizational, technical, or daily issues were addressed directly. The goal was for the candidate to understand what they were getting into. The two people I met were very nice, they took the time to explain everything, and they even gave me a tour of the premises.
