Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DO & CO.
Chef
The interview was held in a separate office, not the actual restaurant. Upon arrival, I waited about 10 minutes before the interviewer, who was very professional and welcoming, came to meet me. She made me feel comfortable and gave me ample time to present myself.
- Can you tell me about your background in this field?
Cook
The interview process wasn’t hard at all. It was a standard process but with more personal questions. Like where you worked and how you did at said companies. Mainly with HR and a little with the Chef.
- Were you asked if you have a good work ethic?
Server/Waiter
You will speak directly with the local team in your city/country and two of the national selection managers. They will ask about your experience as a waiter and your language skills, as the role involves international events. The process is straightforward.
- Do you have international experience, language skills, and experience in the sector?
