First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DNV.
Executive Assistant
Lots of HR emails, and the interviews were an hour long. It took a while to get contacted back and schedule things. We did one-way video interviews at first, then moved to in-person. HR was the only one to update me on my application status.
- How would you handle multiple competing priorities?
Administrative Assistant
It was a friendly but professional interview. They gave me details about the job, but didn't mention it was temporary beforehand. Some challenging questions came up. There were 3 interviewers from different departments. They responded pretty late and didn't explain much.
- Given that you seem overqualified for this role, will it be sufficient for you?
Office Administrator
Applied online and heard back about 1-2 weeks later with an online questionnaire. Then had a phone interview with the Global HR manager a week after that. The following week, I had a phone interview with the local hiring manager, and three days later, on a Friday, I had an in-person interview with him and another person. Got the offer the next Monday morning.
- Can you describe a significant mistake you made and how you managed it?
