Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DNV.
Surveyor
The interview process involved an English conversation with a comfortable atmosphere. It lasted for about an hour and included simple and easy questions about the company, yourself, and your background. If there was remaining time, you had the opportunity to ask questions back. They also asked for more details about what you wrote in your cover letter.
- What made you decide to join dnv?
Structural Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard. They wanted me to discuss myself, my current job, what I do, and some major projects. Also asked why I'm looking to move from my current role and my salary expectations. Plus, some technical questions were included.
- Could you share details about the most impactful project from your prior employment?
- Can you elaborate on the most significant project you completed in your previous role?
Structural Engineer
First there was an online assessment with a personality test and some games, they were easy. Then I had an online interview with the hiring manager. The manager was really nice and asked mostly about my personality, nothing too technical.
- How would you manage a deadline?
