I was only invited to do a video interview where I had to record myself. I never got to speak with a live person. The invitation email was automated, and my follow-ups were ignored. It seems the company couldn't even assign a real person to respond or interview candidates. You have to spend more time than a typical interview because you have multiple submissions and unlimited time to prepare, meaning your video must be perfect. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this. Having insufficient staff or too many applications isn't an excuse; candidates should be treated like humans.

Video Interview Process. This type of interview is very impersonal, with limited time to answer questions, and it seems like it is a trend where HR does not want to do their job - transfer the responsibility to a third party to record your answers. It shows me that: 1- The company does not value people 2- HR is unresponsive and inconsiderate with candidates 3- Video interviews with only 1 minute answer questions only serve to evaluate your ability to be an actor, nothing more than this. Never will apply for this company or any other company that uses "Video Interviews" in the hiring process.

  • Tell me about your experience with Energy.
