Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dnata.
Customer Service Agent
It was a quick interview, probably under 10 minutes, which felt disappointing considering I travelled for 2 hours. It was quite frustrating, though a colleague had a slightly different experience.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your current occupation?
Customer Service Agent
First, you'll get an email with a quiz. It's pretty easy and checks your English skills, plus asks questions based on some data they give you. If you pass that, you'll get another email for a HIREVUE interview, which is a video interview where you record yourself answering questions.
- Can you share a time you went above and beyond to assist a customer?
Customer Service Agent
It was a walk-in interview at the Emirates head office near terminal 1. About 350 people showed up, and they were only picking about 30-40. There were 4 knockout stages: first, a letter writing task, then an essay, followed by basic math, aptitude, and psychometric tests. The final stage had two interviewers assessing one candidate, diving deep into their CV and asking job-specific questions. The whole thing took about 10 hours.
- How did you do on the job specific questions, which can sometimes be tough but are still manageable?
