It was a pretty standard conversation covering my school studies, my past internship, and my career aspirations for the next internship. The interviewers were really nice and shared details about their ongoing projects and what might be of interest to me.

Applied and had an initial in-person meeting with the manager, followed by another in-person interview with other team members. The groups asked similar and some duplicate questions, even some unrelated to the transportation engineering role (like electrical engineering). It felt like a lot of focus on culture fit and interest in the company, transportation, their practice areas, and consulting. My GPA was also a focus, and they uniquely required transcripts with the application. The process was generally straightforward, without technical questions or take-home assignments.

It starts with a half hour phone call to check your qualifications. They'll ask general questions about your schooling, why you like transportation, and why you're interested in their company. If you pass that, you'll have an in-person interview that's about an hour long. The questions weren't super technical, but they were mostly comprehensive, like 'what would you do if...'. The people were really nice, and if you understood your Transportation engineering classes, it should be a pretty easy interview.
