The interview process was pretty straight forward and very conversational. I met with members of the leadership chain from the director I would report to up through the CTO, as well as a director of the engineering team I would be working closely with. The interviews mainly focused on getting to know me as a person and were not as scripted as other interviews I have been a part of. The recruiting team was also very friendly and followed up after each round to make sure everyone was comfortable moving forward. Overall a smooth and positive experience.

They don't have a formal interview process and they chalk it up to "being a startup". My advice to them is that diversity breeds innovation if that's actually what they're looking for. Also, why make people go through several rounds of non-structured interviews if you know they're not the right "cultural" fit. Also, expect to work a ton. I heard they just moved from 7 holidays to 11 this year and no annual reviews and they don't give all employees stock options.

The interview process with Disqo is pretty simple, it has four stages: first you talk to a recruiter, then you have interviews with the hiring manager, the department head, and lastly, the team. Everyone you meet is really approachable, which makes the whole experience more engaging and enjoyable. They have a friendly and supportive vibe that helps candidates feel more comfortable and ready to succeed.
