Technical

It was a really direct technical interview. They asked me several technical questions about basic RF signal flow. There was one tricky question during the interview. Overall, it was a no-nonsense, to-the-point interview.

The interview process began with a video call. The interviewer asked me about my previous job and my thoughts on Dish, given that I'm a Dish customer myself. I think they wanted to gauge my personality and see if I'd be a good fit for Dish. After they finished asking questions, I had the opportunity to ask them about the job. Overall, I felt my interview went really well.

Behavioral Technical

Started with a recruiter phone call to screen me. Then they set up an in-person interview at the closest office. I got there 15 minutes early, but they told me the manager I was supposed to meet with wasn't there because he got promoted and moved. So, a supervisor interviewed me instead. It was kind of rushed, and he had to stop a couple of times – once for a phone call and another time to help a new field tech. It wasn't the most professional interview or setting, but I think he was doing his best given the situation. After about 45 minutes, he said I should hear back in 1-2 weeks, but I never did.
