I applied through Indeed and a recruiter called me about my resume. I had uploaded an old one by accident, but she was nice and let me send her my current resume. Then I talked to her more about the job, pay, and schedules. After that, I had an in-person interview with the manager where they asked about my past work, sales background, and scheduling. I felt good about it but didn't get the job. It was a good learning experience since I haven't done sales before. I contacted the recruiter, and she sent me the careers page, and I'm looking at other roles there now.

It was a simple process. First, I had a phone call with an HR recruiter. Then, I had an in-office meeting with one of the four sales team managers and the General Manager. It was a more formal interview where they asked basic questions about my experience, work history, strengths/weaknesses, etc., and also an impromptu role play. The whole process took 3 weeks. An offer was made the week after my interview, and I started 2 weeks after that.

Behavioral Presentation

I’m really upset with this process. I had an interview last week for this position and it went so well. The manager that interviewed me filled me with false hope by saying multiple times that it looked like I was definitely going to get the job and even told me several times to request her as my manager when I got hired so I could be on her team. They told me someone would call in 72 hours. 4 days pass, no call or email, so I reached out to a recruiter. No reply. Day 5 I get a generic email saying the position had already been filled. I really don’t think managers should be allowed to tell you things like “I definitely think/it looks like you’re gonna get the job” or mention “…when you get hired…”. That’s false hope, and it’s insanely unprofessional.
