The recruiter screen was a big letdown. The recruiter was 15 minutes late, didn't introduce himself, and just started with "It's Dish... I have 5 questions for you, let's go." This felt really rushed and negative from the start. Some questions were easy, but others about my resume seemed like he hadn't prepared. The conversation quickly turned to compensation, which was about 30% below market, with no bonus and a 2% 401k match. He also stressed strict in-office hours, saying I'd have to be there by 9 AM and couldn't leave before my manager. The only positive he mentioned was "working for the best in the business." Because of this very unprofessional and negative experience, I decided not to continue with this opportunity.

Behavioral Technical Other

After a resume screening and shortlisting, there was an information session, quantitative & verbal tests, and an HR screening call. Then a panel interview (could be one or more rounds) to match you with the best-fit org. I had a great experience with the University Relations Team, they were super helpful and the process was smooth and organized. HR Karina was really empathetic and supportive, she and the team kept me updated all the time, which made me less anxious. It was easy to reach out to them and they really tried their best to help with any concerns. The HR team is very talented, innovative, and hardworking, making the whole thing efficient and fun. No issues at all, and I really liked their commitment. I would definitely suggest this recruitment process!

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was smooth and straightforward. Caroline, the recruiter, was very helpful and responsive throughout each stage, keeping me updated and answering my questions promptly. I went through four interview stages and completed three assessments. Each interview was well-structured, and the interviewers gave a glimpse into the company’s culture, which felt collaborative. It was a positive experience and gave me a good impression of what working at Dish Network would be like.
