So at Sybrin, first you apply online or send your CV. Then, the recruitment people or a computer checks if you have the right stuff. If you pass that, you usually get a technical test or coding challenge, like programming or solving problems. You can often do this from home. They check your results, and if you do well, you get interviews. These interviews are usually technical, either online or in person, with engineers or managers. They want to see how much you know technically, how you solve problems, and sometimes they have you actually code.

The hiring process starts with a quick phone call, then you'll take a psychometric test. After that, there's a role-playing exercise where you act as a service consultant dealing with a client. Following the role play, there are two interviews: one online and the final one in person at their office.

There were 3 interviews. The 2nd and 3rd interviews were set for specific dates and times without checking my availability first. I told the HR organizer that those times didn't work and gave them other options. Then, the HR organizer set up a new time without checking if I was free, which I hadn't suggested. When I pointed this out, she said the interviewers were busy and couldn't keep rescheduling. In the 3rd interview, I was told I'd hear about the next steps, but I haven't received any feedback.

Had a great interview with the team and the person whose role I was applying for. They told me I was moving on to the next stage. Then I had some extensive psychometric tests that gave results that really didn't line up with what the in-person interview showed. In the end, they decided based on those test results, and I didn't get the job.
