Project Manager Intern
The interview process involved an initial Hireview followed by a Superday. The Superday focused on both behavioral and some technical questions. The recruiters were noted to be friendly and responsive, and the company's culture is very positive. I would recommend applying here.
- What's your approach to managing a project timeline when the team is falling behind schedule?
Project Manager
I applied online for a PM position back in late November 2016. About a week after applying, an HR Recruiter reached out to set up a 30-minute phone interview. On the very same day as the phone interview, I got another message to set up an on-site interview. This on-site was with the SVP of the department, the team manager I'd already talked to on the phone, another manager, and an Operations Director. Because of the holidays, we pushed the on-site to early January 2017. For the second and last interview, they basically led me into a conference room, and people came in one by one. They introduced themselves, and I had four separate 30-minute chats where we got to know each other personally, talked about the position and how it affects each team member, and discussed how I could fit into the role.
- Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
- What makes you want to work for Discovery?
Senior Project Manager
The process began with a recruiter reaching out. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Following that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview. Unfortunately, due to internal procedures, there was a significant delay of two months before receiving any feedback.
- What aspects of project management do you find most appealing?
