The interview was done via Hirevue. They asked creative questions, which I appreciated because none of them were meant to be tricky. I think they asked what my favorite show on Discovery was and how I would promote it if I worked there. There were also questions about what we liked about broadcast and why I was interested in television.

Got an email from HR to set up a phone interview. It was scheduled a few days later. The HR person was nice and gave me info, and quickly set up a meeting with the hiring manager. I met with the hiring manager a few days after that. It felt like a good interview, we talked for over an hour about the job and I thought I was a good fit. Got an email saying they'd decide in a week. A week and a half later, got a generic email saying I didn't get the job.

This process felt way too long and I didn't get much feedback. They interviewed me online back in March and then I didn't hear anything until the end of May when they told me I didn't get the job. I was ready for two-minute questions, but they asked two separate one-minute questions that were a bit different from the examples they gave.
