The interview was very numbers focused. I was asked to know my numbers inside and out and to ask for further clarification on terminologies because it was difficult to communicate what I had achieved. They were nice people, but the questions were very numbers focused rather than the process.

Group Presentation Other

The interview experience at Discover International was quite disappointing. I went through multiple Zoom interviews. The final stage was a group interview with about 15 people, starting with a presentation from the leadership team. One leader talked about company perks like expensive cars and trips to Ibiza. When I asked about benefits like wellness packages and parental leave, he just kept talking about the luxurious trips and lunches for top performers. We had to do tasks unrelated to recruiting, like building a tower with marshmallows and pasta, and a "sell an object as not the object" task, and a "Shark Tank" style presentation. The only relevant task was interviewing another participant and then pitching their skills for a role. The last interview was with the owner, who seemed unfriendly and made me uncomfortable. The office environment appeared dull, with employees playing ping pong and socializing. They said they'd cut some candidates after lunch at 1 PM but didn't announce until 2:45 PM. The process started late, almost 1.5 hours behind schedule, because they were waiting for people. It felt poorly managed, disrespectful of time, and frankly, a joke. I wouldn't recommend this company; they waste your time and try to lure you with flashy trips and business lunches.

The interview process was smooth and made me feel at ease. The people and team were very welcoming. They explained the business well, as well as their plans for the future. They spoke to me about my goals and targets as well as my future.
