First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Discover International.
Recruiter
The interview was very numbers focused. I was asked to know my numbers inside and out and to ask for further clarification on terminologies because it was difficult to communicate what I had achieved. They were nice people, but the questions were very numbers focused rather than the process.
- Could you tell me what your margin NFI is?
Software Consultant
I had an introductory interview with a recruiter. The recruiter seemed content with my resume but told me that if I don't hear back in 6 weeks, the role is probably filled.
- Tell me about your past experience.
Director
Overall, the interview process was great, and communication from Discover was strong and consistent. They provided clear and honest answers, and the opportunity wasn't misrepresented. Compared to other Life Science firms I've interviewed with, Discover felt the most professional, grounded, and transparent.
- Regarding your career development, what are your aspirations for the next five years?
Compliance and Systems Specialist
It was the most professional recruitment experience I had. I was kept up to date by the recruiter regarding the stage of my application, all my questions were answered and overall it really made me go "these guys know what they are doing" :) The process was really thorough and had many stages, but for me it was a highlight - means company really knows who they are looking for and want to get to know you.
- What is your motivation?
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What are your career aspirations?
