Software Engineer
The interview process was standard, with technical and behavioral components conducted online. It involved a panel interview and a discussion with the hiring manager. A major point of emphasis was the company's location and hybrid work model, which was a significant drawback.
- Can you provide an example of a situation where you used the STAR method to answer a question?
- Tell me about a challenging situation and how you handled it.
- Describe a time you faced a difficult problem and what steps you took to resolve it.
Software Engineer
It was pretty relaxed, with a 40-minute behavioral interview and a 20-minute technical one. They asked about my previous projects and technical abilities. The technical part involved a LeetCode medium problem about intervals. The interviewer was chill, no pressure.
- Can you solve this LeetCode medium intervals question?
Software Engineer
I got reached out to about an interview in late September, it was supposed to be an hour long. I gave my availabilities but then heard nothing. After bugging the recruiter for 10 days, they told me there was no interview. Then in early November, they messaged again to set up another hour-long interview. Shockingly, after I sent my availabilities a second time, they went silent again. After 5 days of chasing them via email, I got rejected because the job was filled. The lack of respect for my time and poor communication from these recruiters is really bad. DISCO needs to improve.
