First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DISCO.
Sales Development Representative
I went through all the rounds at DISCO and got good feedback all the way through. The interviews weren't super tough, but I did have to prep a presentation for the final onsite. The next day, the recruiter called, saying they were really impressed and I should expect good news. In the end, they decided to go with other candidates who had more experience, even though it's a 'development' role and I have 2 years. They then took the job down and reposted it a few days later.

Sales Development Representative
The interview process started off great. A recruiter contacted me and set up a phone screen. The screen went well, and the recruiter even gave me positive feedback. They mentioned they'd reach out if they moved forward. About a week later, I received an email saying they decided not to proceed with my application at that time. When I asked for feedback, they explained they chose someone who was further along in their interview process. It's confusing why they'd contact new candidates if they already had someone further along. I get that there are targets to meet, but it feels disrespectful to waste someone's time and enthusiasm. The job was then reposted about two and a half weeks later. It was quite disappointing, not because I expected a job, but because the feedback essentially implied I should have been faster for a role they reached out to me for. It just felt like a letdown.
- What is it about DISCO that sparks your interest?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was really professional, and though it wasn't the perfect fit in the end, I wasn't planning to take the offer even though I really liked the company and its culture. They really sold me on it coming in. Even though the ideal fit wasn't there, their sales lead called me and asked if he could recommend me for a different position that would be a better fit in a different tech industry. That was pretty amazing.
