Project Manager
went through multiple rounds of interviews, with the team, other managers, directors, and the VP. Personality questionnaire (which is largely ignored), then the whole team meets to review and make a consensus decision.
- What makes you want to join Direct Supply?
- Describe your approach to handling unclear situations.
Project Manager
I went through a phone screening with this company. It seems they use an external recruiting firm, though the recruiter was well-informed about the role. The call lasted about 30 minutes and started punctually. I followed up with the recruiter a few times after the initial screening. He kept me updated on my standing, mentioning another candidate was interviewing internally. That candidate got an offer, so I never got to the in-person interview stage. While I'm bummed about not interviewing face-to-face, I was generally satisfied with how professionally the process was handled.
- What's motivating you to seek a new role?
Project Manager
I had a phone interview, then went for a face-to-face with four people, one of whom was in a team interview setting. The last interview was with three people. The vibe was pretty intense most of the time, making me see why others mentioned the poor work/life balance. It felt like these folks didn't have much of a life outside of work; hardly anyone smiled except one person.
- Tell me about a challenging situation you faced at work.
- What's the biggest mistake you've made and regret?
