Operations Specialist
It was pretty chill and not scary. Just be confident in your abilities and what you bring to the table. This role is for people who like working in teams and don't mind customer service.
- How would you manage stressful situations
Operations Specialist
After passing the initial phone screen, they set up a 5-hour interview. My interview consisted of a personality assessment, followed by three separate interviews, each with two interviewers. The day concluded with a job shadowing session. The questions were unusual and unlike anything I'd encountered before. They asked me about skills I lack and times I failed to meet customer expectations. The questions were pre-determined, which made the interview flow feel awkward. I mentioned my proficiency in Excel, only to be asked later, 'Tell us how you are with Excel.' The strange questions and the repetitive nature of the interviews led to uncomfortable silences, and I felt I hadn't performed well. The second interview mirrored the first, with the same pre-scripted questions and an interviewer who claimed to have forgotten to print my resume (so remember to bring copies!). They appeared disengaged, almost dismissive. The interview was cut short, and my third interviewer and the person I was supposed to shadow were called away for an 'important meeting.' I was escorted to the front desk with a quick, non-committal, 'We'll let you know within a week.' As expected, I received a rejection call exactly seven days later. Overall, it was a very peculiar interview experience, and their disinterest quickly turned into rudeness.
- Could you describe a skill you do not possess?
- Describe an instance where you failed to meet a customer's needs.
- How proficient are you with Excel?
Operations Specialist
The hiring process is quite long but moves fast. My first call with the recruiter went for an hour, longer than the usual 30 minutes, as she had to explain multiple roles I was suitable for. Then, I had four 30-minute interviews with managers or senior staff. Following that, there was a 30-minute interview to decide which role I would fit best. After that, I had four more 30-minute interviews. The whole process took about three weeks. Many questions were repeated, but I enjoyed talking to everyone I met.
- Can you share an experience where you delivered exceptionally outstanding customer service?
