Behavioral

The interview process was very professional and standard for the industry. It involved everyone I was going to work with directly and included my potential direct reports. I was given the opportunity to answer all my questions and concerns. I was also given a tour of the facilities and offices. I feel it gave me a good idea of the requirements of the job.

It started with a recruiter call, then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. We had the call during off hours, which was great, thanks! The interview questions were pretty standard, and he asked about technical processes in my current role. I wasn't sure about the company at first, but he did a good job of getting me interested after. I didn't like how he kept referring to the department as 'his people,' not sure how healthy that is. He decided to go with other candidates who had specific experience he was looking for.

Behavioral Technical

The process included three interviews, two phone calls and one in-person meeting. I finished all the paperwork and was told a decision would be made quickly after each chat. This was for a new department formed by combining two locations, with new expectations. Only a few original team members were staying. It was going to be tough building a united, focused, organized, and high-performing team. I never got a follow-up call or an update on the job. Calls to check on the job status went unanswered.
