The recruiter phone screen was probably the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had. The conversation went left from the beginning, it just felt like there was little interest in the work I had done and a lot of bias based on an earlier scheduling mixup we had earlier in the day. I think recruiters are often the first line of introduction to your company and this recruiter definitely didn't make feel like I wanted to work there.

I am leaving this review to address how unprofessional the recruiter was. After applying through the portal I got an email from the recruiter and I replied back with my available times, but she didn't reply. I followed up after all of my given available time passed. We scheduled a screening interview. She was fifteen minutes late. After the screening call I had to follow up for the next steps. After the panel interview which lasted 2 hours I never heard anything back from the recruiter. I even followed up with no reply. Very unprofessional. Everyone I talked to at Digitas, minus the recruiter, was very intelligent and informational.

Applied for an entry-level Strategy & Analysis role in mid-January via campus recruiting. Heard back in early March from HR. Had a brief 5-minute phone interview about my background and interest in Digitas. An in-person interview was scheduled for the following week. This main interview lasted two hours with four people: three managers and one VP. The first interview was a market sizing question (bagel shop in Nantucket). The next two were behavioral, covering my experience, interest in marketing, career goals, and teamwork. The last interview was a lengthy case problem about expanding GrooveBoston (a concert production company for colleges). I had to analyze social media data, concert schedules, and company objectives to suggest ways to boost brand awareness and grow operations. The case itself wasn't super complex but involved multiplying large numbers (thousands), and I think a mistake there hurt my chances because they doubted my quantitative skills. They also mentioned there were about four math problems between the market sizing and case questions, and getting these right seemed more critical than strategic thinking. I was notified I didn't get an offer in early April. Overall, it felt like a fair process with nice people, both HR and interviewers. It was a positive experience even without the offer.
