First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Digicel.
Customer Service Advisor
Easy application sends the CV and cover letter by email and then if your profile matches the position, you are called for an exam and then the interview.
- Why are you applying to Digicel?
Human Resources
The process was super quick and simple. It had 3 parts. First, a virtual meeting, then an in-person one at their headquarters in Willemstad. Mostly, they asked situational questions, and the interviewers were chill the whole time.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenging coworker and describe how you managed the situation?
Customer Care Agent
I've been through two interviews with the company, first for a customer care agent role in their call center, and then a second time for a promotion to a retail executive position. The initial process for the call center job involved a phone interview to assess my voice quality and articulation, followed by a panel interview about a week later. This panel included the Head of Customer Care, a call center supervisor, and an HR representative. They asked a variety of questions and also administered two written tests: one for communication skills and another for basic math. The whole thing took about 2-3 weeks. The second interview for the retail role was more casual since I was already an employee, and it was with an HR person and the Head of Retail. I got offers for both positions. For interviews, they really focus on appearance and image because they're a marketing-heavy company. They're looking for confident, energetic people with a positive attitude and good conflict resolution skills. You need to be very personable because customers are their top priority. If you don't genuinely enjoy helping and interacting with people, you won't do well there or be favored by management.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this role?
Accounts Payable Analyst
The interview was held virtually. They asked questions based on my resume, covering my qualifications and experience. They also asked about my motivation for joining the company, what I can contribute, and why I'm the best fit.
