First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Digi-Key Electronics.
HR Business Partner
The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but it ended up lasting 1.5 hours. This was supposed to be the preliminary interview, but it went over by an hour. Even after taking so much extra time, the interviewer still seemed unsure about moving forward with my application. They also asked some probing questions about my personal life.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Process Specialist
I had 3 rounds with HRs, which was really bad, up to salary negotiation, and then they ghosted me. Round 1 was with the Team Manager and was a technical interview, which was nice. Round 2 was with the Business Director and I cleared it successfully. Round 3 was with HR, where they asked a few behavioral questions and then we discussed salary. Then comes the worst part.. HR. They said they'd get back, which they never did. I was asked if I was open to negotiation and I said yes, but still nothing from their side. HRs like them really ruin the company's reputation. After following up for the 3rd time, they somehow received the call and said the position went on hold. Again, they mentioned they'd come back and never did. Precious time was wasted getting interviewed here.

Technical Marketing Engineer
This was an amazing interview process, and I had the chance to talk to some great people! The questions weren't too difficult. I went through about 2-3 interviews, and they were mostly behavioral questions. It was pretty easy going overall.
- Can you tell me about a technical project you've worked on?
EDI Developer
It was a phone interview and they didn't ask me any technical questions. The interviewers were really nice and seemed pretty calm. They explained their work and what they were looking for in this role. I thought I was a good fit, but it turns out they didn't agree. Based on what they described about the job, it seems like there's a lot of potential to learn about EDI setup.
