The interview process is pretty involved and can be tough, but it shows how much thought and effort the hiring team is putting into finding the right people to join the team.
- What do you find most interesting about a job?
- What do you find least interesting about a job?
Cashier
I applied online on Monday and got a call back on Tuesday, but I missed it. I called back Wednesday afternoon. The recruiter, who worked out of a different location than where I applied, had a quick phone interview with me about my availability for shifts and the pay rate. She mentioned that the supervisor at my local store would review everything and I'd be notified either way about the job.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a difficult or unhappy customer and explain your approach?
- Describe a situation where you exceeded expectations to assist a customer.
Cashier
Interview started via text, where I stayed my availability was invited in for a in-person interview the next day. Less than 24 hours later the business “doesn’t have a position to meet my needs.” As a professional I feel like my time was wasted and I wouldn’t refer now one to work here!
- Outside of holidays we are closed for, can you work on other holidays?
- After reading the job description, do you believe you can complete the tasks without reasonable accommodation?
