First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Diebold Nixdorf.
Business Analyst
It took one month to get the first interview. Then, in the second interview, there were technical problems and no one showed up. I waited for 45 minutes, and no one contacted me to explain. We rescheduled for a month later, which meant two months had passed since I applied. Then, I waited another month for the third interview. I kept waiting and sending emails. After two more months, I finally got an email saying the job would be in another country. The whole process took 5 months.
- What have you done in your previous role that aligns with the requirements of this position?
Business Analyst
The hiring process was a bit disorganized. It seemed like they forgot I had an interview scheduled and had to rush to find the right people. The questions were standard and felt scripted, with no technical ones at all. Even after I finished the HR paperwork quickly, I ended up waiting around for HR for about two hours before they could connect with my department to show me my desk. They didn't have a computer ready for me, and one wasn't even ordered, which took about a week to sort out.
- They asked standard questions that seemed to be from a script.
Business Analyst
Since I work as a freelancer for DN, I first had an informative chat with the recruiter. Eventually, after an initial screening, I was invited for a conversation with DN. It was a very nice, open discussion with the project managers. I immediately felt welcomed and knew the project was a good fit for my profile.
- What are your expectations for this project?
