First, there was a psychometric test. Then, an interview with a robot where I had to record myself answering a question shown on the screen. Finally, a one-hour video call with the manager and another team member, where I did a role-play.

Technical Case Presentation Behavioral

So first up was this online test, it had some case study stuff and calculation questions. Like, they give you data and competitor info, and you have to figure out what Diageo should make. Then came the assessment centre, man, it was a 6-hour marathon, felt super long with barely any breaks. It was all virtual, so no group stuff. It started with an icebreaker where you had to find something that represents you (not scored though). After that was a panel interview, just me against two interviewers for a whole hour. They fired like 12+ questions at me, super fast Q&A. Then a quick 10 min break. The case study part was broken into 3 sessions, about 40 mins each. You got 5 mins to read, 10-15 mins to prep, 10 mins to present, and 10 mins for Q&A. The first case study was about looking at competitors and planning a product launch, explaining my logic. Another 5 min break. The second one was about creating a marketing strategy for that product and picking a celeb endorser, followed by a tricky question about what to do if the celeb trashed Diageo publicly. No prep time for that one, they wanted on-the-spot answers. Another 5 min break. The third session was more about my purpose and legacy at Diageo, again, no thinking time, just immediate answers. Last 5 min break. Then there was a networking bit with current grads. It was pretty tough, I was so wiped out by the halfway mark, like 'just get it over with' by the second case study.

The process started with an online assessment that included situational judgment and personality tests. Following this, a personalized feedback report was provided, along with an invitation to complete an online interview within a 5-day window. This online interview consisted of 8 questions via HireVue, focusing on straightforward questions about your background and hypothetical situations. The final three questions involved a case study, which was more demanding due to time constraints. Notification about progressing to the assessment center stage was given within two weeks.
