First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Diageo.
Marketing Executive
The interview process was in person. The first stage of the interview process was digitally recorded without any human interaction. Not a great first impression of the company. The process could be improved by facilitating a short introduction prior.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Marketing Assistant
The HireVue interview was basically me talking to a camera, answering pre-set questions on a timer. No interviewer, just AI analyzing my words, tone, and expressions. It felt a little weird, but overall, it was quick and pretty straightforward.
- Develop a marketing campaign for one of our brands to engage gen z customers.
Marketing
First, there was a CV submission and a video interview. The questions were pretty different from other interviews I've had. I didn't get selected, and it took a bit for the team to let me know. But they did give me feedback on my performance, which was really well-structured, better than any other scheme I've seen. It made it clear where I messed up, so I really appreciate the structure even though I didn't pass, as I now know what to work on.
- Tell me about a situation where your beliefs were challenged and how you handled it.
