Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Diageo.
Account Executive
It was a good interview experience, they made me feel comfortable. The interviewer was nice and encouraging. There were several parts to the interview: an ice breaker, a professional pitch, questions about my past experiences, a case study, and I had time to ask my own questions.
- Can you share an instance where your team faced difficulties in delivering a project?
Sales Executive
There were 2 initial online tests: the first one had quick games to assess personal traits, the second one involved interview-style questions, a practical case study, and an English level check. After that, you move on to an in-person interview, and that's it.
- Why would you want to work here?
- Tell me about a challenging past experience or an achievement you've had.
- What would you do in your first few weeks at the company?
Account Executive
The interview process was lengthy. I had a Zoom call with two executives that lasted over two hours, but ultimately I did not get the job. They were very friendly, however, the interview felt longer than it needed to be.
- Can you describe a challenge you faced and overcame in your previous roles?
