Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DHL Supply Chain.
Operations Supervisor
You'll interview with your immediate Operations Managers, two of them. They'll start by making you feel comfortable, then they'll ask you questions about various warehouse operations scenarios or based on your operations knowledge. Expect a lot of questions about different situations to test your common sense, business operations awareness, and work ethic.
- How do you ensure people are accountable for their tasks?
Operations Executive
Good. Only two rounds with hr and technical rounds. Easy to clear if you have the knowledge. They made an offer soon within a week. Every process was good. Nice management in the interview process. It was face to face or mostly virtual.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What was your previous job profile like?
Operations Supervisor
I was contacted by a DHL recruiter to interview for the Operations Supervisor position. I interviewed with 2 employees from DHL, and it seemed to go well. Two weeks later, the recruiter asked about my location preferences, which made me think I was moving to the next round. However, I waited another 4 weeks before contacting the recruiter again. They said they didn't have updates but wanted to keep me as an active candidate. Six weeks after that, I got a rejection letter. In total, I waited 12 weeks for an official response after my first interview. It felt unprofessional and like a really long time to wait. I was unsure if I should keep them in consideration since I was interviewing elsewhere. Some communication, regardless of my status, would have been appreciated.
- Can you describe a time you handled a high-pressure situation?
