It was a really warm and welcoming interview. For the DHL Operations Intern role, they usually ask questions about your behavior, hypothetical situations, and things related to supply chain. They really want to see how well you work in a team, how you solve problems, and if you're genuinely interested in logistics and operations. You might need to talk about past experiences using the STAR method, define simple supply chain ideas like bottlenecks or KPIs, and talk about how you'd deal with warehouse issues like delays or safety. They're also looking for good communication, being detail-oriented, and having a desire to learn. Since DHL has big distribution centers, showing you get efficiency, continuous improvement, and data analysis can make you stand out. Basically, they're checking your work ethic, how you think analytically, and your ability to help with operational performance.

Had a quick 20 min call with HR to kick things off, all behavioral questions. Then, the main interview day was virtual, with breakout sessions. These included some group panels, a short 5-minute presentation where I had to talk about myself, and a few one-on-one chats with the warehouse managers. Oh, and a background check was part of it too.

I had a few phone interviews with an Operations Supervisor, maybe two rounds like that? Then there was this big online thing with 300 people. We all had to do a PowerPoint intro first. After that, we chatted with some past interns about what it's like. The last part was a one-on-one with two different Operations Supervisors.
