The job listing and the interview are quite different, so know what you're getting into. The listing doesn't require sales experience and calls itself the 'first step to your sales journey', but you're expected to discuss your sales experience in the interview. If your background isn't in sales, they'll focus on how your lack of experience makes you unqualified. They also don't mention the training in the job listing; it turns out you'll be a telesales person for 6 months, expected to call 100 prospective clients daily, and won't be managing accounts anytime soon. This is explained during the interview, not beforehand. They also don't hire immediately but shortlist candidates, which I feel they should have disclosed upfront. Also, the interview date was different on Zoom than in the email. The whole experience felt unprofessional.

So after you apply online you have to take this little test. Then, if you pass, someone will call you in a few days for a phone interview. If that goes well, they bring you in for a one-on-one with the hiring manager and HR. After that, if they like you, you gotta pass a bunch of tests, like a background check and a drug test. Finally, you have one last chat with the director of the site, and if everything looks good, they'll offer you the job.

I met DHL at a career fair. The process took a surprisingly long time. First, there was an initial phone screening, and then I had an in-person interview because I was already near their facility. Since they didn't have any openings that matched my skills at that specific office, they passed my information along to other offices. Once I was referred, it involved a two-step phone interview process, and then I was offered a position.
