I got an email for an HR call, which then led to an interview with a manager. The HR rep gave me the wrong time, so I was late for the interview. The manager then apparently dropped out of the process and I was moved to a manager from another department. This manager didn't show up on time, so two of her subordinates interviewed me instead. The questions were pretty standard. They didn't follow up much after the interview, and I got a rejection two weeks before the start date. The company seemed really disorganized.

Sent my CV, then had a telephone interview where they asked background questions and checked my English. After that, there was an in-person, non-technical interview about my past experience and personal motivation for the internship, plus some general questions about the company and the sector.

So I just had a regular interview for this internship. It seems like they don't really check GPAs or anything. There weren't many people applying, so maybe they're not getting the highest caliber interns. You should definitely prepare beforehand and know what their values are. They're mostly asking fit-based questions because they don't really expect interns to have a ton of experience or skills. Just make sure you bring something to the table that's more than just your schoolwork.
