This interview process was a bad experience. The recruiting associate was late for my first interview and didn't even send an email to let me know. The second interview had scenario questions that made me think the work environment isn't great. For example, one question asked how I would respond to an email asking for information I don't have access to when my manager is out of office and unreachable. I had two interviews and never heard back about an update. Also, the recruiter sent me an interview email that was actually for another candidate and didn't tell me until I asked. I wouldn't suggest wasting your time here as you won't even get a courtesy update.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied and about two weeks later, got an email to schedule a phone interview. The interview was 30 minutes, started on time, and was pretty casual and conversational with fair questions from a nice interviewer. Less than a week after that, I was asked to schedule an in-person interview. This one was with four team members. Everyone was on time, super friendly, and asked good, insightful questions. It was a good mix of chatting and being professional. They gave positive feedback. They answered my questions thoroughly. It was clear they really value the community at Dexis, which I liked. The next step was a writing assignment.

I was emailed to set up a phone interview, and then got another email invitation for an in-person interview a few days later. Dexis was really accommodating about my not living in the DC Metro area and offered to let me Skype in, but I chose to do it in person. The interview felt comfortable and allowed me to be myself. The conversation centered on my role and personality. I had the chance to ask questions and got a good sense of Dexis's culture. It was the most conversational interview I've ever experienced. Idra was fantastic throughout and very open and communicative.
