I made it all the way to the final interview stage. However, the interviewer seemed very eager to wrap up our conversation. They ended up rejecting me, claiming they were looking for a numerical response to a question that didn't necessitate one. I felt the question was intrusive, and I answered it in a way that maintained my personal boundaries. If a numerical answer was indeed expected, the question itself was poorly phrased, given its design. Friends I've spoken to about this also agree that a number wasn't a necessary part of the answer. I feel my time was wasted, and they didn't provide a legitimate explanation for my rejection after I reached the final round.

So first they wanted to see how good my communication skills were, asking basic stuff like 'tell me about yourself'. Then came the second round, which was technical. They asked about my past projects and some technical questions tied to my previous work. They actually kept me waiting until midnight just to tell me the result of the second round, and then they said they'd call. I did get a call for the third round, and it was just more technical questions. After that, I got selected for the fourth round, which was with the director. This person was super rude, barely even looked at me while asking questions.
