A couple of rounds. I met with the hiring manager and some team members, and then we all went out for lunch together. It was a really relaxed interview.

Behavioral Case

It was pretty easy for a typical entry-level sales interview. No role-playing was involved. The last part was a chat with the district manager in the location I wanted. Dexian has many locations across the US, which is cool. I ended up taking a different job I liked more.

Behavioral Technical

My interview experience with Dexian was really frustrating and unprofessional. I had an initial virtual interview with a senior client director that went well, and I was told I'd have an in-person interview with his boss the next week. But then, I was ghosted for almost five weeks. The recruiter was good at first through LinkedIn, but after the interview, all my follow-up messages were ignored. About five weeks later, I contacted the senior client director directly. He apologized and said the recruiter should have told me they hired an internal candidate. Then the recruiter said he left me a voicemail, which he didn't. He later apologized for not texting. This bad communication and no updates made me feel disrespected and annoyed. It showed a big problem with professionalism and communication at Dexian, and it was disappointing my time was wasted like that. I'd tell future candidates to be careful and make sure to set clear expectations for communication from the start.
