First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dewey's Pizza.

The interviewer asked me questions about what neighborhood I was from, and so on. It was disappointing because they didn't ask about any relevant experience. They were asking for information that legally shouldn't be asked. Some training should be provided to interviewers.
- What neighborhood did you grow up in?

I submitted my application and was able to get an interview right away, on the same day. I talked with one of the managers. Then I had to do a menu test where I had to identify all the menu items. After passing the test, I was hired and went through orientation.
- They inquired about my customer service abilities and my availability.

You'll have a quick in-person chat with some usual interview questions. If you get the job, you then have to pass a menu test to get hired. For the test, you need to be able to write the whole menu from memory. Training starts right after that.
- What would you do if a customer complained about their order?
