First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dewberry.
Engineer
The interview process at this firm was thorough and complete. They asked a lot of necessary questions. There were multiple rounds of interviews. The interviewers were polite and respectful. I am unfortunately accepting a position at another firm, however, I would recommend this company.
- Where do you see your progression in the firm over the next 5 years?
Architect
Had a 1-hr zoom interview with a manager. She had to leave work early to pick up her kids, and I offered to reschedule, but she insisted on continuing the interview while driving. She winged it unprepared and ended abruptly when she arrived at her destination.
- Can you tell me about your background with CAD software?
Civil Engineer
The interview process was comfortable and easy going. The company got back to us in a reasonable amount of time and was willing to provide accommodations. Overall, the interview questions were reasonable and they responded back quickly after the interview.
- Why did you decide to study civil engineering?
Resilience Planner
I met with people on the team, my potential managers, and some of the leadership. HR was also involved and observing. It was a good experience, everyone seemed genuinely interested in the work and authentic. It felt like management is really trying to make sure it's a good fit for everyone involved.
- Can you discuss your personal and professional philosophy regarding this work and our shared values?
